NEW ROUTE AND NEW COUNTRY FOR 2014 DAKAR RALLY... WELCOME TO BOLIVIA

The power players are Caselli, Coma, Faria and Despres...and no one knows what Cyril Despres will do

The 2014 Dakar Rally is dropping its route through Peru for one that goes into Bolivia instead. The Dakar will still transit through Argentina and Chile in 2014. The 2014 Dakar Rally will have longer special stages, as well as several marathon stages (stages where only the competitor can do mechanical work on his machine, not the mechanics). The favored KTM team is Kurt Caselli, Marc Coma and Ruben Faria. Five-time winner Cyril Despres has yet to announce where and what he will be racing in 2014. It is rumored that Honda might sign Despres.
