WHAT STANDS OUT?
Here’s a list of things that stand out with Gaerne Coolmax socks.
(1) Feel.
Gaerne Coolmax socks are stretchy, breathable, polyester motocross socks that wick sweat away from your skin. This helps keep your feet dry. Dry feet mean that you won’t get blisters on those long days at the track. Plus, on hot days, they will help keep your body temperature down. The Gaerne sock has a tight, snug feel, and riders with big calves said that they were difficult to put on, but once they did get them on, they loved the feel.
(2) Durability
. Gaerne didn’t want to cut any corners, which is why they went into partnership with Coolmax.
(3) Materials.
Although Coolmax makes socks for many sports, they do not have a proprietary motocross sock. Instead, Coolmax allows Gaerne to use its specially formulated textile that is designed to absorb moisture and wick it across the fabric to decrease drying time. Coolmax socks are machine washable and dryable. They require no special handling instructions because their polyester blend is color safe.

WHAT’S THE SQUAWK?

We don’t know why the color of something you wear under your boot matters, but some test riders wanted brighter colors than black/gray.
