SEAN TRIHEY
HART AND HUNTINGTON MECHANIC
STARTING POINT: “I spent a few years working in local dealerships in
Phoenix, Arizona. I was out riding in the desert after the Phoenix
Supercross and happened to run into a guy who owned a Supercross team.
It was Tony Wenck from TiLube Motorsports. I got on with those guys, and
it progressed from there. I tried to get into it for years, and then I
just bumped into the guy and it worked out.”
THE JOB: “I’m 100 percent responsible for Kyle Partridge’s race bikes. Every weekend, we frame them and tear them down. Every two races, we rebuild the engine. We go through everything and inspect and replace what’s needed. The coolest thing is, when I talk to my buddies, they think I have an awesome job—even though they may not know what it fully entails. You put in 90 hours a week, but you get to meet and hang out with a lot of great people.”
