Small Italian boutique builder TM has released photos of its new 2014 model line-up. All U.S.-bpund TM motocross modles will come with Kayaba KYB SSS forks, custom-made TM factory shocks and clear fuel tanks. American Model will include the 85 Junior, 100 Junior, 144MX, 250MX and 300 MX two-strokes. Plus, 250FI MX, 450FI MX, 450SMX (supermoto) four-stroke. There will also be a 144EN two-stroke enduro, 250EN two-stroke enduro, 300EN two-stroke, 250FI EN four-stroke and 450FI EN enduro. TM 85MX JUNIOR
The all-new TM 85 Junior gets a new piston design with changes to both the cylinder porting and the engine setup. These changes imporve engine performance and durability. New suspension settings have been added to the forks and shock. The shims, oil weight, oil volume and shock gas pressure have been modified.
Additionally, the TM 125MX and TM144MX two-stroke get modification to their EES engines. Although revised in 2013, the 2014 125/144 engine will get more power, more torque and increased durability thanks to increased compression, twin-ring piston, new porting and revised power valve mechanism. The chassis get new triple clamps along with revised fork and shock valving.
TM 250MX & 300MX
The 250cc and 300cc two-strokes get new air boots, crankcase design, rotated V-Force reeds and a new inlet manifold. The 250/300 chassis gets new suspension settings and all-new triple clamps.
TM 250FI MX
After months of testing at the highest racing level the 2014 TM 250F four-stroke will receive a new piston with a creative crown shape. The fuel injection mapping, intake cam and larger EFI throttle body have been changed to improve overall power and torque.
TM 450FI MX
For 2014 the 450 engine will get new ignition timing, fuel mapping and piston crown. Low to mid power has been improved and starting is easier with the new mapping. All American TMs will be equipped with Kayaba SSS forks and TM’s factory shock absorber.
