FIRST PHOTOS OF THE ALL-NEW HUSQVARNA 300 TWO-STROKE

Sharp-eyed viewers will spot the white KTM frame, KTM 300 engine with Husqvarna engine cases, blue hubs, blue triple clamps and revised plastic (apart from being white). KTM is under time constraints to come out with new bikes, after only buying Husky a few months ago. It is expected that KTM will have the time to develop more stand-alone Husky models in the next few years, but as for now this is a thinly disguised KTM 300. Photo: Dennis Stapleton

The new Husqvarna, which by the time it hits showrooms will most likely be considered a 2015 model, was showcased at the MXDN as a lead-in to the FIM’s new 300cc two-stroke class that will be a support race during the 2014 GP season. If you look at the engine cases on the KTM in the background, you can easily see that the Husky engine is a KTM engine by comparing the water pumps and Power Valve adjusters. Photo: Adam Duckworth
