AIMEXPO SHORTENED TO FOUR DAYS IN 2014: OCTOBER 16-19


The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), has announced the 2014 show will be a four-day event held on October 16-19, 2014, at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center. Last year’s inaugural event was five days. The exclusive trade and media days will be held on Thursday and Friday (October 16- 17), with the show hosting consumer days on Saturday and Sunday (October 18-19).

The inaugural AIMExpo featured 392 exhibitors including manufacturers and distributors. AIMExpo 2014 has already booked over 200 exhibitors and is on track to surpass the launch year in both size and scope. For more info go to www.AIMExpoUSA.com

                             
FIRST LOOK AT HUSQVARNA’S MOTO3 ROAD RACE BIKE


Following November’s announcement that they would field a 250cc Moto3 road race team, Husky has been quietly working on their team effort. They hired Brit Danny Kent and Finn Niklas Ajo to race the bikes. Here are the first photos of what the bike will look like.

GODSPEED! BOBBY SULLIVAN (1962-2014)

Bobby Sullivan (511) on the line.

Bobby Sullivan passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014, from a cardiac arrest. Sullivan raced for the powerful R&D Suzuki and Jeff Ward Racing teams and later in the 125 Pro class. Sadly, Sullivan was wheelchair bound after a crash in 1979. Bobby Sullivan was 51 years old.
