Davi Millsaps might have to go on the injured/disabled list for the start of the Supercross season.
Rockstar KTM team manager Dave Gowland let it slip that Davi Millsaps injured his good leg recently and may not be on the starting line at A1. Millsaps, who was standing next to Gowland, isn’t seriously hurt, but following a winter of recovery from knee surgery and a flash injury two months ago?anything that disrupts Davi’s progress is a setback compounded by his time off the bike.
Ivan gets the call.
In a surprise move, Ivan Tedesco was pegged to fill-in for Davi at A1 ? if the worse came true. Tedesco may seem like pulling a name out of a hat, but Ivan has been doing testing for the KTM team, on the air shock, and was the logical choice.
The Rockstar Suzuki team switched to KTM during the offseason, citing a lack of support from Suzuki as the main reason for going orange. Team owner Bobby Hewitt expressed his enthusiasm for the moving, stating, “As a satellite team, we will always be the little engine that could, but having the support of KTM is a huge advantage. We are delighted and grateful to race KTM motorcycles and eagerly excited for the opportunity to utilize KTM’s new Factory Services program. This will be a very exciting venture for our team.”
