FIRST ANNUAL GARY JONES WESTERN OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP GRAND PRIX ON FEBRUARY 17 AT GLEN HELEN


The First Annual Gary Jones Western Off-Road Championship Grand Prix will be held on February 17. The event will be run over a unique six mile course that includes all elements of offroad racing terrain and obstacles. This fantastic track was designed by Gary Jones himself, with assistance from Dirt Bike editor, Ron Lawson. These Grand Prix races are truly “Old School” with 2-hour races for the Pros and 1-1/2 hours for Amateurs including at least one mandatory pit stop!
 
The event schedule includes a Parade Lap at 8am, followed by the first of four races at 8:45 a.m. Classes are available for all ages and levels. Seniors, Super Seniors and Vets are in Race 1.

Race 2 features all Novices, Beginners, 85cc, Super Minis and Women. The third race is for the little tykes, 50cc through 65cc and will be run on a modified track! Race 4 is for the fast riders; the Pros, Experts, and Intermediates with the green flag taking place at 1:30 pm. You will want to gear it up for this outstanding event. Experience the challenge and fun of real GP racing!
