The FIM World Championships will travel to the Ukraine in 2014. The race will be held at the track in Dimitrov, which is located in southeast part of the Ukraine and it has the biggest population in the country with 4,480,000 people with 130 different nationalities.
Mexico is back on the schedule for 2014, but this time it will be held in Leon, a city of 1.6 million people. The Mexican GP will be promoted RallyMex SportEvents (who many will remember hosted the ISDE that had to be canceled after it started because of criminal activity in the area). The first Mexican Grand Prix was held in 2011 and was rightfully considered a disaster.
Additionally, Brazil will get a second Grand Prix. It will be called the Grand Prix of Estados of Goias and is a two-hour plane ride from Rio de Janeiro and S?o Paulo (and about 200 miles from Bras¡lia).
A Grand Prix schedule had already been released. It only had one open date (September 21) and already included Mexico on September 14. It is expected that the new events will shuffle the 2014 calendar dramatically. Since one of the two Brazil races is currently grouped with the Thailand race in March, the second Brazil race would most likely be linked to the Mexican GP to make the overseas travel less expensive.
