Gautier Paulin could stay with Barcia and Canard, but he could get out of the gate ahead of them.

After wins by Justin Barcia on day one and two, Trey Canard broke the ice with a nail biter victory on day three. The final race of the three day event saw French rider Gautier Paulin get the holeshot and lead for three laps before  Andrew Short, Trey Canard and Justin Barcia came by. Trey Canard got the win, but Barcia’s 1-1-2 weekend beat Canard’s 2-2-1.

Paulin (21) bracketed by Canard (41) and Barica (51).

“Man, what a weekend,” said Justin Barcia. “I didn’t want it to be that exciting! Trey and I were so close in speed and we were only tenths apart. Overall it was just very intense. We were going extremely fast and were on a bit of a different level compared to the other guys. It was awesome. I’ve won it twice now so maybe next year I will come back and try and make it three. I love this place. I’m stoked to be King of Bercy again and it means a lot to have two of those trophies at home now. It is pretty special.”
