Scott Sports is proud to announce that KTM’S Andrew Short and Team DNA/Shred Stix/Star Yamaha will all be sporting Scott products in 2011.

TEAM KTM’S ANDREW SHORT

Andrew Short is continuing his relationship with Scott for the 2011 and 2012 race seasons. Short will compete in the Hustle Goggle with the FIT System. Andrew will also train exclusively on a Scott Addict R1 road bike, a joint effort for Scott Motosports and Scott Bicycles.

“Andrew is one of nicest, most laid back riders around and it is a pleasure to have him back for two more years. We have supported him through his amateur career and now as a pro,” said Kevin Strikwerda, head of US Motocross Marketing for Scott Sports. “Not only is Short a great representative for the goggles but we are equally as excited to have him training on the bike that has won multiple stages in the Tour de France.”

“I am a firm believer that my goggles are an important part of my racing. If my goggles fog or fail me in a mud race it could cost me a win. I trust and know that Scott goggles are the best,” said Andrew Short.

Andrew will make his debut in the Hustle Goggle on January 8th in Anaheim, California.

TEAM DNA/SHRED STIX/STAR YAMAHA

Scott Sports also signed Team DNA/Shred Stix/Star Yamaha to wear Scott apparel, boots, helmets and goggles for the 2011 and 2012 race seasons.

“I couldn’t be happier to have Yamaha’s Factory 250 team in Scott gear head-to-toe. With Cunningham, Sipes, Audette, Swanepoel and Paluzzi all on one team, this should be a breakout year for the team and Scott,” said Kevin Strikwerda, US MX Marketing, for Scott Sports. “Scott has a credible history of supporting the sports best and the DNA Shred Stix Star Yamaha team has the knowledge and riders to be on the podium.”

“With all the hard work put forth by the team and the riders in the off season, I am expecting strong results in 2011,” says team manager Allan Brown. “Having worked with Scott in the past, I know they have the know-how to make our team standout. We are excited to debut their new 450 boot and helmet line this season along with the new Hustle Goggle.”

“Scott is putting forth a huge effort for 2011 and we are pleased to be apart of it,” says team owner Bobby Regan. “We are happy to have a solid company with Scott backing the team and having a uniform team look.”
