THE MOTOCROSS FILES TO AIR ON MAV-TV STARTING OCT. 4

The history of the sport returns to the little screen when MAVTV begins re-airing seasons one, two and three of “The Motocross Files” on October 4 with season one’s inaugural show on “Bad Brad” Lackey. Lackey was America’s first World Champion and only 500cc World Champion when he concluded a 10-year quest to win that title. MAVTV will begin airing all 21 episodes of “The Motocross Files” on October 4th at 2:30am and 5:30am (all times Eastern Standard Time) with the Brad Lackey episode and then every Friday at the same times.

Developed and originally aired in the fall of 2005 on Speed, ‘The Motocross Files” broke new ground with sports documentary story telling with high production values utilizing theatrical music score and pioneering the use in sports productions of “3D animated photographs” seen today in so many shows and commercials. Over 21 episodes have been produced for the series to date and Producer/Director Todd Huffman feels there are even more great motocross stories out there to tell. MAVTV is currently in over 27 millions households being found on Directv (Ch. 214), Dish (Ch. 248), Comcast, Time Warner and Charter just to name a few. And a new relationship with 16 new independent cable operators get the network new reach to viewers across the country who are discovering MAVTV’s entertaining and relevant programming that the entire family can enjoy
