The 2017 KTM factory team from left to right: Trey Canard, Roger DeCoster, Ryan Dungey, Ian Harrison, Marvin Musquin.
Every year, Trey Canard goes into a new season with the speed to win races. He can win, he has won. Will his fresh start at KTM be a formula for a good healthy season? We sure hope so. Trey is awesome to watch on the track.
The mechanic that will be taking care of Trey’s factory KTM 450SXF will be Jade Dungey, who is Ryan Dungey’s brother.
This will be Marvin’s sophomore year going into the 450 Supercross season. He had a decent season last year, finishing 7th in Supercross and 3rd overall in the outdoors. His offseason went even better — winning the Red Bull Straight Rhythm as well the Geneva and Paris-Lille Supercross races. If he keeps up the momentum, he can be a championship contender in 2017.
Frankie Latham will again be wrenching for Marvin.
“The Diesel” Ryan Dungey is back to 100 percent after cracking his C6 vertebra on the opening lap of the second moto at Thunder Valley. It is rumored that 2017 might well be his last year of professional racing. If that is true, we all know he will make his best effort to go out with a bang.
The veteran mechanic Carlos Rivera will again be Ryan’s wrench for 2017.
