2018 HIGH POINT NATIONAL | 450 OVERALL RESULTS (UPDATED)

The motos of the 2018 High Point 450s are in the books. 

The first moto of the 450 class at the 2018 High Point National kicked off putting the fans on their feet. Moto two was nothing short of that. With 41 riders on the gate all looking to make it their day, it was a mad house. Ken Roczen jumped to the early lead, but Marvin Musquin and Eli Tomac were hot on his tail. In the end, it was a battle between Marvin and Eli that would come down to he final lap of racing. Here’s how the overall results stacked up.

Eli TomacEli Tomac had Marvin Musquin on his tail the entire final 450 moto but he didn’t let that affect him. He went on to clinch the day with a 2–1 score.

Marvin MusquinMarvin Musquin gave it his all, and left nothing on the table. He went 1–2 for a second on the day.

HIGH POINT 450 QUALIFYING

Blake Baggett kicked it into high gear in Mt. Morris for qualifying.

The 450 qualifying kicked off in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania–and it was an interesting one. Track conditions were slick, and riders had a tough time finding their lines early on. But in the end, Blake Baggett managed to put together a performance unlike we have seen all year long. Blake but together a 1:55.307 lap time. Eli Tomac was more than a second off Baggett at 1:56.393, and Marvin Musquin took third. Here’s how the rest of the field placed.

We saw a level of riding from Blake Baggett that has been missing from the field. He topped both qualifying sessions.

Eli TomacEli Tomac was not far behind BB4. The reigning champ is watched by all coming into round 4.

Marvin MusquinLast but not least, Marvin Musquin managed to fall in third. But, this is just qualifying. Marvin looked smooth.
