Round 11 of the 2018 MXGP World Championship is held in Lombardia, Italy. During the qualifying race on Saturday is was Romain Febvre that took the win. Tony Cairoli crashed early on and clawed his way up to 7th place. With the MXGP class points leader Jeffrey Herling out with a broken collarbone, this is Cairoli’s chance to close the 62 point gap. Herlings says he will only miss one round due to the injury, but we don’t think he will be 100 percent when he returns to racing. Yamaha’s Jeremy Seewer finished second and Clement Desalle third.
