2018 MXGP GREAT BRITAIN | MX2 OVERALL RACE RESULTS

The ninth round of the 2018 MXGP in Matterly Basin is in the books. The KTM MX2 riders flip-flopped results from Saturday qualifying to the Sunday race. On Saturday, is was Jorge Prado who took the qualifying race win with Pauls Jonass in second. The two moto race format on Sunday, points leader Pauls Jonass went 1-1 and Jorge Prado went 2-2. Honda’s Calvin Vlaanderen has been showing good results the last few rounds and ended up on the podium for third. Husky’s Thomas Kjer Olsen had a rough weekend scoring zero points finishing outside the top 20.

SATURDAY MX2 QUALIFYING 

Jorge Prado MXGP of Portugal_ Agueda_ Round 5Factory KTM’s Jorge Prado took the win during the Saturday qualifying race in Matterley Basin. 

This is the 9th round of the 2018 MXGP series. This MXGP round takes the riders to Matterley Basin, Great Britain. On Saturday’s MX2 qualifying race it has Factory KTM’s Jorge Prado who took the win and set the fastest lap time of the day in the MX2 class at 2:24.273. Finishing six seconds behind Prado was the current MX2 points leader and his KTM teammate, Pauls Jonass. Finishing third was Husqvarna’s Thomas Kjer Olsen on a Husky FC250. Tomorrows race is going to be interesting to see what riders are going to finish up front. Will Jorge Prado be able to carry the momentum into tomorrow and close the gap in points on his teammate Pauls Jonass?
