Round 11 of the 2019 AMA Monster Energy Supercross series was held in Indianapolis, Indiana inside the Lucas Oil Stadium. Austin Forkner has won every round of the 250 East Coast series and is 23 points ahead ahead Justin Cooper and Chase Sexton who are tied for second in the championship. We will be posting results throughout the night of racing starting with the first 250 heat races all the way to the main event. Make sure to check back throughout the night

250 MAIN EVENT RACE RESULTS 

Austin Forkner 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-4851Austin Forkner wins again in Indy. Can he be beat?

Austin Forkner exploded out front on the opening laps. Chase Sexton was in second but couldn’t match Forkner’s pace. Davalos was in third and Oldenburg  forth with Kyle Peters rounded out the top five. On the eighth lap, Justin Cooper was in seventh and Alex Martin in 14 and they were working their way up. On the 12th lap Forkner had  more than a seven second lead over Sexton. Oldenburg made his was past Davalos while Peters was closing the gap on him. On lap 14 Justin Cooper passed Peters to break himself into the top five. Forkner led start to finish was a commanding lead at the end. Sexton second, Cooper third, Oldenburg forth and Davalos rounding out the top five. Alex Martin worked his way up to 9th and Peters finished sixth.

Chase Sexton 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-4840Chase Sexton took the first 250 heat win. 

It was Mitchell Oldenburg that came around the first lap in the lead in the 250 first heat race of the night with Alex Martin and Chase Sexton in tow. On the second lap Sexton made his way past Martin and on third lap he past the leader Oldenburg. Sexton took it home for the win with Oldenburg second, Martin third, Cunningham fourth with Noren taking the final transfer spot.

250 HEAT RACE 2

Justin Cooper 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-4812Justin Cooper win the second 250 heat race. 

The JGR rider of Kyle Peters took the lead on the first lap, but Forkner went down in the lead before he finished the lap. Justin Cooper was right on his tail with  Pro Circuit’s Martin Davalos. Forker went back to about 17th and on the forth lap worked his way up to 10th. On lap seven, Davalos worked passed Cooper with Forkner into 7th. Lap eight Davalos and Cooper passed Peters going into the last lap with Cooper making the pass on Davalos for the win. Forkner worked up to 5th with Justin Thompson getting the final transfer position.

250 LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER (top 4 qualify)

Lane Shaw_Logan Karnow_2019 Minneapolis Supercross-170Lane Shaw (986) took home the LCQ win to make it into the 250 main event. 

Kevin Moranz got the lead on the first lap but Lane Shaw made the pass on lap  four and never looked back. Moranz finished second, Isaac Teasdale third and Cade Autenriech got the final transfer spot into the 250 main event. Thomas Covington was 12th.
