Cooper Webb comes inside the Lucas Oil Stadium for round 11 with a 19 point lead over Marvin Musquin and Eli Tomac who are tied for second in points. During qualifying in Indy it was the factory Kawasaki rider of Joey Savatgy who laid down the fastest lap time of the day to take the pole. 450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS 

Marvin Musquin 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-4635KTM riders sweep the podium with Marvin Musquin taking the 450 main event win!

It was the factory KTM rider of Marvin Musquin  with the 450 main event lead on the first lap with the factory Kawi riders of Joey  Savatgy and Eli Tomac in tow. Cooper Webb started in 5th and made his way passed Baggett for forth very quick. Chad Reed started the main event in last. On lap four Ken Roczen was 8th behind Zach Osborne. On lap seven Tomac made his way past his teammate Savatgy for second and Baggett passed Webb after he made a mistake. All the while Musquin started to pull away. Halfway through the 450 main event, Baggett starts to catch Tomac and gapping Webb while Roczen couldn’t  make up any ground. Savatgy droped back to six. Webb got past Tomac on lap 15 and was gaining momentum on the leaders. On lap 18 it was KTM riders one, two, three while Tomac  drooped off the lead pack. The KTM riders swept the Indy podium.

450 HEAT RACE 1

DEan WIlson 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-5050Dean Wilson took the first 450 heat race win of the night. 

Ken Roczen took the early lead but Dean Wilson made a quick pass on him with Musquin in third and Tomac in forth. On lap four Marvin moved passed Roczen with Barcia putting down hot laps in fifth. For the rest of the heat the top five stayed the same with the factory Husky rider Dean Wilson winning. Ryan Breece got the final cut off top.

450 HEAT RACE 2

Cooper Webb 2019 Indianapolis Supercross-5105The factory KTM racer of Cooper Webb won again in the 450 SX heat race number 2. Cooper is a force to be reckoned with in Indy. With his confidence high and big points lead it is going to take a lot from the other riders to take him off the top step. 

Blake Baggett came around in the lead on the first lap of heat 2 with Cooper Webb and Zach Osborne two and three. Osborne made a big mistake as he dropped back to 8th with Joey Savatgy going to third with Chad Reed into forth. Webb made his way past Baggett on the forth lap. Savatgy eventually made his way past Baggett but Cooper was still pulling away in the lead. Webb won with Savatgy, Baggett, Reed and Brayton behind him. Cedric Soubeyras got the final transfer spot and Kyle Chisholm had to go to the LCQ.

450 LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER (top 4 transfer to main)

Mike Alessi_2019 Indianapolis Supercross-7Mike Alessi lead start to finish in the 450 SX last chance qualifier race to make it into the main event in Indy.

The Smart Top Honda fill in rider of Mike Alessi got the holeshot. Alessi rode great and lead from start to finish. Aj Catanzaro and Alex Ray got a bad starts and were unable to make their way up to transfer positions Ben Lamay took second, Kyle Chisholm was third and the final transfer position into the 450 main event was the number 97 of Adam Enticknap.
