450 QUALIFYING RESULTS FROM THE HANGTOWN MOTOCROSS NATIONAL
Ken Roczen looks to be on his game at the opening motocross round in Hangtown.
The 2019 outdoor National motocross series is here. With only two weeks off since Supercross ended that doesn’t leave much time for the racers to recover coming into a grueling 12 round motocross series. The good thing is, it is the same for everyone. The question is, can Eli Tomac go into the record books by winning three straight 450 outdoor championships in a row? Or will the likes of Copper Webb, Marvin Musquin, Ken Roczen or Blake Baggett take his crown for 2019? Here is how 450 qualifying shook down at the first round of the AMA National series.

Eli Tomac is the fan favorite to win at Hangtown, but due to the rain forecast Roczen is known as the better mud rider.
In the second session of 450 qualifying Musquin’s lap recorder fell off. Musquin picked it up off the track and had his mechanic put it back on. He qualified third overall.
Jason Anderson looked better the second session qualifying fifth behind Webb but the better condition in the first session set him back overall.
