MILLVILLE NATIONAL | RACE DAY SCHEDULE HAS BEEN CHANGED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN (UPDATED)

MILLVILLE PRO MOTOCROSS SCHEDULE DELAYED

Dylan Ferrandis 2019 Redbud NationalThe 2019 Millville National has been a mess so far.

The 2019 AMA Nationals are in Millville, Minnesota today and round eight of the season is underway at the Spring Creek Motocross Park. Qualifying was delayed due to heavy rain and lightning and it was also limited to only one session for each group. Instead of the normal two 15-minute qualifying sessions, each group had just one 20-minute session.  The weather cleared up enough for the 250 groups to get their qualifying sessions in, but then the rain and lightning came back during the 450 Group A session which cut their qualifying short. The 450 Group B qualifying session had to be moved back to 2:00 P.M. Eastern time and now the first motos will have to be delayed as well. According to Pro Motocross, the first motos are provisionally set to begin at 3:00 P.M. Eastern, 12:00 P.M. Pacific time. Due to the deep mud, the steep hills have also been taken out of the Spring Creek track. Check back in with MXA for results throughout the day.
