450 QUALIFYING RESULTS | FOX RACEWAY MOTOCROSS NATIONAL
The last of 9 rounds of the 2020 AMA Pro Motocross Championship was held at Fox Raceway in Pala California. Nobody thought a National in California would happen due to the strict Covid-19 regulations. Since Pala is on an Indian reservation it doesn’t have to abide by the same rules and regulations as the rest of the state. This is only the first race of the season that spectators can come and watch the race!
Coming into the final round in the 450 class the points leader Zach Osborne had a 24-point lead on second-place Adam Cianciarulo. That was a fairly big gap in points. Although as it has been shown many times before, anything can happen at the final round. Here is how 450 qualifying went down at Fox Raceway for the last round of the National Motocross Championship.

450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS
Chase Sexton broke the 1:53 barrier to be the fastest man of the day.
In the second 450 qualifying session it started out like the first one with Adam Cianciarulo and Chase Sexton first and second. Adam on the second lap was close to breaking into the 1:53 lap time. On the sixth lap Chase Sexton broke the 1:53 barrier and passed Ciancairulo for the pole. It should be noted that Justin Bacria pulled off the track. He was debating on racing today due to an injury. Also, Eli Tomac couldn’t seem to break the top ten barrier. It was Sexton who topped qualifying with Cianciarulo, Craig, Musquin and Osborne who were top five in that order.

450 A QUALIFYING SESSION 1 RESULTS
Adam Cianciarulo was your first session 450 qualifier leader.
In the opening laps of qualifying, Adam Cianciarulo set the tone on his factory KX450 with Chase Sexton aboard his factory HRC CRF450 in tow. Remember today is all about the points chase against Adam Cianciarulo and Zach Osborne. Adam has to close Zach’s 24 point gap in order to win the 450 National Championship. Although Zach has to make some big mistakes for Adam to pull off such a feat. Cianciarulo looked like he was on a mission to dominate the day in qualifying in the first session. He was close to a second faster than Chase Sexton and almost two seconds faster than the points leader Osborne.
