2020 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS | 450 MAIN EVENT RACE RESULTS

2020 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE
450 MAIN EVENT RACE RESULTS
Vince Friese grabbed the holeshot with Justin Barcia second Justin Brayton Third and Hill fourth. Justin Barcia quickly made an aggressive move on Friese to grab the lead. Justin Brayton and Adam Cianciarulo moved into second and third shortly after. Cooper Webb and Ken Roczen battled back and forth while Jason Anderson and Eli Tomac foud themselves buried early in the race. Justin Barcia was looking really good in the lead, Adam Cianciarulo made a pass on Brayton and he was catching Barcia, but Barica starting doing a triple-triple in a rhythm section that nobody else was doing early in the race. With 14 minutes left to go, Eli Tomac was ninth with Cooper Webb fourth and Ken Roczen fifth. Justin Barcia then made a mistake with twelve and a half minutes left in the race and he went off the track, this allowed Adam to get the lead while Barcia got back on in second. At the halfway point Adam Cianciarulo, Jason Anderson and Blake Baggett starting doing the triple-triple as well. With just over five minutes to go, Adam made a mistake in a rhythm section and Justin Barcia was able to get back into the lead. After putting pressure on Roczen for a while, Blake Baggett was able to make the move into fourth.

450 LCQ RACE RESULTS
Chad Reed finished second in the LCQ and will start in his 250th Main Event tonight in Anaheim.
Zach Osborne, Chad Reed, Aaron Plessinger, Tyler Bowers, Benny Bloss and more found themselves in the 450 LCQ after they failed to qualifying through the heat races. Zach Osborne grabbed the holeshot from the same starting gate Michael Mosiman used in the LCQ before. Chad Reed was second early while Plessinger found himself outside of the top four. Aaron and Tyler battled back and forth, but finally Plessinger was able to make the pass stick for the final transfer spot. Surprisingly, Chad Reed kept Osborne honest as he wasn’t pulling away. Ryan Breece made a mistake and he had to double the triple. This allowed Bowers to get by and take over fifth, then on the final lap, Kyle Cunningham held third, but Aaron Plessinger pressured him into a mistake and Bowers and Plessinger were both able to get by which put Cunningham fifth, missing the Main Event by one position.

450 HEAT RACE 2 RESULTS
Justin Barcia wins the second 450 heat race of the night.
Zach Osborne grabbed the early lead in the second 450 heat race, but it was Justin Barcia who was able to make the pass on him. Zach later had a big crash in a rhythm section while running second. Adam Cianciarulo was buried on the start, but he made some smart moves to make his way well into the top ten in the first few corners. He passed his former rival Cooper Webb and later he got around Justin Hill. Immediately after passing Hill, Adam made a mistake in a rhythm section, Hill got up next to him and block passed him in the next corner. Adam was passed by Webb again, but he was able to get back on the track to pass Webb and Hill again to finish second behind Justin Barcia.

450 HEAT RACE 1 RESULTS
Justin Brayton won the first 450 heat race at Anaheim 1.
Justin Brayton grabbed the early lead in 450 heat race number one, with Vince Friese in second early in the race. Eli Tomac went off the track in a rhythm section on the first lap, but he got back on quickly without losing too many positions. Later in the race Eli was running fifth place, behind Malcolm Stewart and he made an aggressive take out move on Stewart to inherit fourth place. Malcolm was able to get up quickly in seventh position. Ken Roczen caught up to Justin Brayton, his teammate, on the last lap, but he wasn’t able to make the move. Justin Brayton and Ken Roczen fist bumped to congratulate each other after the race.
