2021 MOTOCROSS GRAND PRIX OF TURKEY #1: HERLINGS & VIALLE WIN, BUT NEITHER IS LEADING THE POINTS

KTM’s Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Vialle won the first of two GPs to be held in Turkey this year. The second GP only three days after the first. The strange thing about Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Villae’s wins is that neither of them are leading the points in their classes. Herlings is 5th in 450 points (36 points behind Tim Gajser), while Tom Vialle is 10th in 250 points (134 points behind Maxime Renaux). Both riders suffered injuries that forced them to miss races, with Vialle missing the most. In the 450 class, Romain Febvre is second to Gajser, while in the 250 class Mattia Guadagnini is second to Renaux.
