2022 IRONMAN NATIONAL // 250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

We’re here at the second to last round of the season and things are definitely not heating up in the 250 class as young Jett Lawrence still has a tremendous lead in the points despite the competition besting him at the past two rounds. Both Hunter Lawrence, Jo Shimoda, and Justin Cooper are the only ones who are mathematically possible to claim the championship, but the dominant performance of Jett will be tough to beat. Before the gate drops at Ironman, we have to knock out qualifying first and find out who’s the fastest 250 rider in Indiana.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

During the second qualifying session, the track had shaped up to get fairly rutty and rough leading to slightly slower lap times than the first session. In the second session, Justin Cooper was once again the fastest qualifier but just came up short of his impressive first session time. The Lawrence brothers would round out the top 3.

250 SESSION 1 RESULTS

It’s no surprise to see both Justin Cooper and Jett Lawrence once again chasing for the top of the leaderboard in qualifying. What is surprising is that Justin Cooper was a whole second faster than Jett Lawrence on the track. Nate Thrasher rode and impressive lap jumping up to the third fastest position with Michael Mosiman who recently returned from a concussion sitting in fourth. Another rider returning from injury was Levi Kitchen who rounded out the top 5.
