2022 MXGP OF LATVIA VIDEO: GEERTS/VIALLE TIED FOR 250 POINTS LEAD & GAJSER UNTOUCHABLE

The sixth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship saw some wild and crazy riding in the mud of Latvia. HRC’s Tim Gajser is so far ahead in 450 points that he has a two Grand Prix lead on Jorge Prado. And for Jeffrey Herlings fans, Gajser is almost six GPs ahead of Herlings, who has been waiting to heal up from a broken heel and has yet to start his 450 title defense. Tim has been so dominant that of the 12 motos held so far in 2022, Tim has won 8 of them, finished second in 3 and his worst finish so far was a 3rd in the first moto in Trentino.

The real battling is taking place in 250 World Championship, where first and second in points, Jago Geerts and Tom Vialle, are tied at 244 points apiece. Equally amazing is that Simon Laengenfelder, Kay de Wolf and Mikkel Haarup at all tied at 181 points for third overall
