2022 SEATTLE SUPERCROSS 250 RECAP: HUNTER LAWRENCE WINS WITH THE HELP OF MICHAEL MOSIMAN
Star Yamaha’s Christian Craig grabbed the holeshot at the return of the 250 West series to Supercross. Craig led GasGas factory rider Michael Mosiman and Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jo Shimoda on the first lap with Honda’s Hunter Lawrence a few places back. But Craig wasn’t the fastest man at that point of the race and not only got caught a couple laps later by Michael Mosiman, but opened himself up for Mosiman to sweep by—and when Craig refused to give up his line, he ended up on the ground. Unfortunately, Mosiman’s rear brake rotor was bent in the collision with Craig and he ran the rest of the race with no rear brakes. Hunter Lawrence came through to take the lead and Craig, who remounted in sixth, worked his way up to second at the flag. Mosiman held on for third. In two weeks the 250 East returns in St. Louis.for a three moto showdown.
