2022 SUPERCROSS POINT STANDINGS // ROUND 1

The first round of the 2022 AMA Supercross series is in the books. What a race it was. Per usual riders were falling like dominos in the first round. Usually, after a few rounds, the cobwebs are dusted off and the riders start to get in a racing groove again. There are a lot of takeaways from this race but the biggest one has to be the 450 main event. The three veteran riders ended up on the podium tonight. They weren’t the fastest, but they sure were the smartest. The younger riders should take note of that.

Garrett Marchbanks had third in the bag until Hunter Lawrence got him the last lap. 

Seth Hammaker rode well. 

Vince Friese got the holeshot in the heat race and the main event. The veteran rode well in the 250 class.
