2023 FOX RACEWAY NATIONAL // 250 OVERALL RACE RESULTS
The first race of the year is here. Qualifying at Fox Raceway has concluded in the 250 class with Justin Cooper leading the way. Cooper was faster in the first session and set the fastest time, but Hunter Lawrence and Max Volhand beat Cooper out when the track got rougher. The 250 class is stacked for the opening round so let’s see how the cards fall.

250 OVERALL RACE RESULTS
It was Hunter Lawrence with the holeshot with Tom Vialle second. Jeremy Martin and Jett Reynolds got into a second-turn pileup. Haiden Deegan came around third on the first lap. RJ went down twice on the first lap and was in 39th place.
Justin Cooper made his way through the pack and on lap five tailed his teammate Guillem Farres for fifth place. Cooper made the pass and worked up to Chance Hymas.
Chance ended up falling and Deegan got around Vialle with Cooper in fourth. Max Volhand and Jo Shimoda worked through the pack all moto long. being in 6th and 7th place then Max went down when a lapper got in the way. As RJ almost broke into the top ten he went down again pushing him back to 13th.
On the last lap, Justin Cooper crashed trying to pass Tom Vialle. Hunter wins the overall by winning the second moto with Deegan second and Vialle third.
250 MOTO 1 RACE RESULTS
Off the start, it was Jalek Swoll with the holeshot, but Jo Shimoda made the pass in the second turn. RJ Hampshire made the pass on his teammate Swoll on the first lap. On the opening lap Cooper was in 9th and Lawrence behind him in 10th. It wasn’t long before Hampshire got passed Shimodo to take the lead. The two factory KTM riders were 3rd and 4th place making time on the leaders. Hampshire went down in a rut in a lead put got stuck behind him letting Vohland catch up to them.
Jo Shimoda went down with about 20 minutes to go putting Max in second and Vialle in third.
With 12 minutes on the clock, Hunter Lawrence and Justin Cooper made it up to the top five riders. Jo made the pass on Vialle into third with Lawrence doing the same moments later putting Vialle to fifth.
On the last lap, it was a three-rider dual for second between Max, Jo and Hunter. Hunter passed Jo and started working on Max. At the finish, it was RJ, Max, Hunter, Jo, and Justin in the top 5.
