250 EAST/WEST SHOOTOUT RACE RESULTS | 2020 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS ROUND 17 FINALE (UPDATED)
250 EAST/WEST SHOOTOUT RACE RESULTS | 2020 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS ROUND 17 FINALE
Round 17 of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross season is ending with a bang as both the East and West divisions of the 250SX class are in the middle of a heated battle for the Championship. The current points leaders in each division, Dylan Ferrandis and Chase Sexton, are also the defending champions and they’re both moving up to the 450SX class in 2021. Dylan has a 7-point lead on Austin Forkner and Chase has a 6-point lead on Shane McElrath. Both Dylan and Chase are looking to add another title to their stat sheet before they make the jump to the premier class, while Shane and Austin are looking to dethrone them. In both cases, Chase and Dylan only need to finish 3rd place in the Main Event. If their rival wins and they finish third, they’ll win the tiebreaker and the Championship. But, two riders can’t finish third and with both coasts on the track at the same time, anything can happen.
