250 EAST/WEST SHOWDOWN MAIN EVENT RESULTS | 2021 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS 2

Tonight is the battle we’ve all been waiting for, the battle between the 250 East and West Coast riders. The championship may be solidified for two Star Yamaha riders but we’re itching at the edge of our seats to see the two coasts duke it out. There are several battles we’re looking forward to; Cooper vs. Nichols, Jett vs. Hunter, and more. Both Justin Cooper and Colt Nichols basically have to qualify for the Main Event and finish decently to win the championship after both of their respective rivals had massive crashes, taking them out of the championship title hunt. The track has also shown to be a tricky one during qualifying. While the riders were setting fast lap times, the track was sucker-punched by the dry weather, resulting in nasty track conditions and the water only made things slicker. So who do you have picked for tonight? Will it be an East Coast or West Coast rider to grab the overall win? Find out down below as we report all the action LIVE from Rice-Eccles Stadium.

250 EAST/WEST MAIN EVENT RESULTS

The battle between the two coasts was epic.

Colt Nichols grabbed the holeshot and avoided a massive pileup at the beginning. Seth Hammaker chased in second with the Lawrence brothers in third and fourth. Jett Lawrence carried a lot of speed through the whoops gaining ground on Seth Hammaker. Justin Cooper sat all the way back in ninth place. Jett Lawrence was successful on a pass on Seth Hammaker while his brother Hunter put pressure on the Pro Circuit rider. Hunter made a passing attempt on Hammaker but tipped over in a flat spot, losing a position to Cameron McAdoo.

At five minutes remaining, Cameron made the pass on his teammate Seth Hammaker while Jett closed the gap on Colt. Colt let Jett make the pass so that the young Australian wouldn’t take him out. Hunter Lawrence also started to gain ground on Cameron once again with less than a minute and two laps remaining. Hunter made the pass on Cameron and Jett would win the race.

250 EAST HEAT RESULTS

Michael was first to the holeshot line and first to the checkers.

Michael Mosiman was the first to the line in the second 250 Heat with Garrett Stapleton and Jo Shimoda chasing in second and third. The points leader Colt Nichols sat back in sixth place playing it safe. Jo eventually got by Stapleton and Jett followed his former teammates lead through the whoops. Colt Nichols moved up to fourth place, passing Stapleton. Jett was caught up behind Jo Shimoda for several laps, struggling to make a pass. Jett eventually made the pass through a corner for second place but Jo showed Jett he’s here to not mess around. Michael Mosiman grabbed the win and even hit the whoops after crossing the finish line.

250 WEST HEAT RESULTS

Justin would take an off track excursion after being pushed wide by Hunter Lawrence.

Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot shoving the points leader, Justin Cooper off the track. Despite getting the holeshot, Hunter dropped three positions while Jalek Swoll led the race. Cameron McAdoo ran in second place but would eventually be passed by Hunter after one lap. Seth Hammaker and Cameron McAdoo both made the pass on Hunter. After a few battles, Hunter made his way around Hammaker for the third place position while Justin Cooper made his way up to eleventh. Cameron McAdoo made the pass on Jalek Swoll but one rhythm lane later, the 47 would take his position back in the race. Cameron gave Swoll the berries, making a close pass for first place. Hunter Lawrence gained a position on Swoll through the whoops but Swoll showed to be extremely strong in one of the rhythm sections. Cameron won the race while Justin Cooper barely made it into a transfer position for the Main.

Cameron may only have had 15 minutes on the bike between now and when he raced last, but a Heat win shows that he means business.

250 LCQ RESULTS

Hunter Schlosser grabbed the holeshot with Soubeyras and Wageman in second and third. Schlosser and Wageman collided sending the two down. Now Enzo Lopes and Coty Schock sat in second and third place. Soubeyras then went down losing only three positions, sitting in the transfer position.
