250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2023 ARLINGTON SUPERCROSS

The 250 East Coast class has arrived in Arlington for another round of Monster Energy Supercross. However it’s a Triple Crown weekend which means 3x the battles, and 3x the chance of going down. The races are short, quick, and the track’s simplicity will make the racing even closer, well hopefully. Just like the West Coast, it’s the Lawrence show in the 250 class but unlike the West Coast division, there’s more than two other riders who have a chance at taking a Main Event win. So scroll down to below to find out what happens when the gate drops here in Arlington!

250 MAIN EVENT 3 RESULTS

The last laps of the third Main Event were nothing short of exciting as the lead was exchanged several times due to riders flying off their bikes.

Jordon Smith would get a good drive off the start but Hunter Lawrence would lose the front end crashing and taking Max Anstie with him. Nate Thrasher would lead the race with Michael Mosiman in second and Jordon in third.

With four minutes left in the race, Michael Mosiman would cause a chain reaction pileup, tipping over below the under/over leading Jordon Smith to crash with several riders having no where to go.

Two minutes later, Hunter Lawrence had already moved up from dead last to seventh place.

But with just a minute remaining and an overall in sight, Nate Thrasher would topple over in the whoops after getting sideways nearly annihilating a lapper. But thanks to his insane lead, Nate got back up and only lost two positions.

With Nate going down, Jeremy Martin would be the leader of the race with Tom Vialle in second. But the whoops weren’t done yet with Yamaha boys, sending Jordon Smith over the bars with just a lap left.

Nate would win the overall.

With so much chaos happening in the last moments of the third Main, it was getting tricky trying to calculate the overall!

250 MAIN EVENT 2 RESULTS

Hunter Lawrence, Nate Thrasher, and Jordon Smith were battling the entire Main Event.

Jordon Smith claimed the holeshot and the entire Star Yamaha team with the likes of Hunter Lawrence would be in the top 5. One lap later, Nate Thrasher would make an exciting pass on Hunter Lawrence for third place and eventually second after passing his teammate Haiden Deegan.

With seven minutes left, Hunter would execute a pass on Haiden taking the third place position in the race but was still four seconds back from the leader.

With four minutes left, Nate would start to feel the pressure of Hunter and would soon become impatient from riding his teammate’s rear wheel for the entire race.

The two Star Yamaha riders were deep in lap traffic and Nate would get hung up behind a lapper, leading to Nate crossing the over/under and nicking Hunter’s front wheel on the landing, resulting in Hunter tipping it over. Thankfully for Hunter, the three were in a different zip code compared to fourth place and he maintained his position in the race.

Jordon would go on to win the second Main Event.

250 MAIN EVENT 1 RESULTS

Nate Thrasher was riding very impressive but a strange bobble just before one of the triples would result in him taking a significant time loss after being forced to double it.

Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot with Tom Vialle and Max Anstie chasing in second and third. However, the two would be caught off guard as Nate Thrasher snuck in between the two grabbing the second place position and begun to close the gap on Hunter Lawrence. As the leaders continued to battle it out, a crash in the whoops section would result in Hardy Munoz going down and getting ran into by Hicks, leading into two more riders crashing.

Nate was riding exceptional until a bizarre hiccup resulting in Nate doubling a triple would lose all of the work that he had just put in. With two laps left in the race, Hunter Lawrence and Nate Thrasher would find themselves 12 whole seconds ahead of third place’s Max Anstie, unfortunately making us liars in our opening paragraph. Hunter Lawrence would win the first of three Main Events of the night.

250 SX FUTURES RESULTS

Arlington 2023 Supercross_Daxton Bennick

Daxton Bennick took the holeshot while the rest of the field explored the outside of the first turn. As the race progressed, Casey Cochran would find one of the round infield tuff blocks hanging on for the ride as the Husky rider went up the face of a double.

Daxton casually pulled the sickest move of the entire race wheeling through half of the whoops. Daxton would go on to win the SX Futures Main Event.
