250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2020 REDBUD PRO MOTOCROSS NATIONAL 1

The 2020 RedBud National 1 is here and it’s set to go in Buchanan, Michigan as 250 points leader Dylan Ferrandis heads into round four of the season with a 4-point lead on Jeremy Martin in the 250 class. The RedBud track is widely known for being a favorite among the Pro riders and the racers and fans are in for a treat as they will be racing at RedBud once again on Monday, September 7th, for the RedBud National #2. Originally, before Washougal got canceled, RedBud was the only stop on 2020 Pro Motocross circuit with a double header, but now it has became the second track to earn a double header this season. 250 OVERALL QUALIFYING SESSION RESULTS

Dylan Ferrandis was your fastest 250 qualifier by a long shot at Redbud.

The second qualifying session for the 250 class saw Dylan Ferrandis dropping his time down to a 2:03.58 which was significantly better than his teammate Justin Cooper who was second with a 2:05.397. The track is currently looking choppy with great traction and fast ruts. The dirt isn’t as deep as it can be during practice at a Pro Motocross National, but the good news is that there seems to be multiple lines for passing in each section. Riders started the day with sand/mud tires in preparation for deep soil, but it looks like most riders are switching back to the standard intermediate tire. Also, in the 250 class, there aren’t any riders hitting the Larocco’s leap yet either.

Ty Masterpool is back from injury on the Star Racing Yamaha team. He made his Pro Debut in the 2019 Outdoor season, but skipped the 2020 Supercross season and then was injured before the start of the Nationals. But he’s back and he qualified 3rd fastest in the first session.
