250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2023 DAYTONA SUPERCROSS
The weather is amazing, the track is long, and qualifying is well under way for the 250 East class. Hunter Lawrence still holds the reigns of the points championship with an 11 point lead on second place’s Max Anstie. Nate Thrasher, Haiden Deegan, and Jeremy Martin fill out the top 5. However, Daytona is also the most different in terms of racing each year as the track combines both motocross and Supercross elements. So who will Daytona? Will the top 5 close the gap on Hunter Lawrence or will Hunter continue grow the gap in the points.

250 GROUP A QUALIFYING RESULTS (SESSION 2 OF 2)
Nate Thrasher would be the second fastest in Daytona, but would still be half a second slower than Hunter Lawrence.
Nate Thrasher and Michael Mosiman ran out front at the start of the second qualifying session. Halfway through, Michael would hold the fastest time with Jeremy Martin in second place. Despite the track looking relatively good, the lap times were several seconds slower. With four minutes remaining in the session, Jordon Smith and Nate Thrasher would put down two lap times similar to the first session.
With a minute left, Hunter Lawrence put down the power racing across the Daytona track and setting a lap time comparable to the 450s in their first session with a 1:13.286.

Rate the kit for Jeremy Martin.
The lap times were expected to be long but the 250 class was showing to be quite quick in the first session with Hunter Lawrence setting a surprisingly fast lap time of 1:14.59, almost a full second faster than Nate Thrasher. One of the notable rookies, Chance Hymas sat in third place with fellow Honda rider Max Anstie in fourth. Jeremy Martin rode in fifth but was still 2 seconds off of the leader.
