250 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 ST. LOUIS SUPERCROSS

Heading into the 2024 St. Louis Supercross, Levi Kitchen enters with an eight-point lead over RJ Hampshire as the riders hit the track for qualifying. Pierce Brown is generally quick early in the afternoon and still searching for his first win this season. Jordon Smith now sits eleven points down from Levi Kitchen after having a tough night in Seattle, where he ended up on the ground multiple times, but he is still determined to put himself on top this evening. Levi Kitchen was almost flawless last weekend. He did make some minor mistakes on the track, but in terms of results, he was on top in both the heat race and the main event. However, it all starts in qualifying. Be sure to stay up to date by reading below.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

Julien Beaumer was fast off the line in the second session and was able to put in a fast time early.

Off the gate drop in the second session, it was Jordon Smith who grabbed the holeshot, but he was quickly passed by Julien Beaumer down the first rhythm section. Jordon would make the pass back by the end of the lap and start putting in multiple fast laps, trying to get the top time early. Jordon Smith was fastest early, followed by Jo Shimoda, who has been looking a lot better in the second half of the West Coast season. Within a few laps, however, Levi Kitchen made his first appearance and put himself above Jordon Smith on the list, grabbing the top spot. It would not last though, as the session one top qualifier was able to break into the 55-second range and put himself back on the top of the list. Not a surprise, but something unexpected was Carson Mumford as he moved into third on the list, riding exceptionally well this afternoon. Upfront, though, there was no stopping RJ Hampshire from becoming the fastest qualifier.

Levi Kitchen carrying momentum from last weekend’s win here in St. Louis

Jordon Smith rode with a lot of maturity and having a very clean ride in the second session, putting in a few extremely fast times.

250 QUALIFYING SESSION 1 GROUP A

RJ Hampshire adapted quickly to the track and was able to get in a great time in the first session.

Carson Mumford was the first to lead the pack around in the first qualifying session, followed by RJ Hampshire. The track is very technical this evening, as the rhythm sections are steep and have jumps that range from close to far, causing riders to overjump and then have to preload to make it over the next triple. Jordon Smith is looking quick here early as well, as he was able to slide into the second position on the leaderboard directly behind RJ Hampshire, who now tops the list. Michael Mosiman was looking very good and was sitting fifth in the session when he landed short on one of the technical triples in the rhythm, sending him over the bars hard. He would remount the bike and get back out to finish the session. Back up front however it was RJ Hampshire who was able to get the job done in the first session.
