250 OVERALL RACE RESULTS | 2021 BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL
The 250 class is ready to rip the Maryland soil as the rain had downpoured on the track days before. Thankfully, the track crew did a very impressive job once again at delivering a raceable track just in time for the motos. The dirt is slick but definitely ridable as the track developed some pretty big ruts in qualifying. Justin Cooper was once again our fastest qualifier and looked exceedingly well heading into the motos. So who do you think will take the overall at Budds Creek? Find out down below as we report all the action LIVE.

Budds Creek would be one of Austin Forkner’s best finishes this season.
250 MOTO 1 RACE RESULTS
Justin was seriously hauling it as the majority of the race was spent having a 5+ second gap on the rest of the competition.
Justin Cooper was quick off the ate to get the holeshot with Jalek Swoll and Austin Forkner in second and third. Austin made a low pass on Jalek Swoll during the first lap and pretty soon it was Garrett Marchbanks who started to gain ground on third place. Justin Cooper’s lead grew even more within the first two laps as the rest of the competition suffered from congestion as many of the turns only had one line. Eventually, it was Rj Hampshire who would make the pass on Garrett Marchbanks and the top 5 stayed close together. After 5 minutes had passed, Justin Cooper’s lead was already up 7 seconds.
Jett Lawrence did not get the best of starts as he sat all the way back in seventh and with the congestion of the riders in front of him, making passes would be difficult. However, Jett would become successful on making the pass on Jeremy Martin, scrubbing a table and spending almost no time in the air. With less than half of the race remaining, Jett closed the gap on Austin Forkner who was having his best ride of the season. A lapper went down right in front of Forkner and Jett took the opportunity to make the pass.
With two minutes left, Jeremy Martin also closed the gap on Austin Forkner and would obtain third place after Austin made a mistake heading up one of the hills.
