250 RACE RESULTS // 2022 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS FINALE
All eyes are on Christian Craig as we prepare for the final race of the 2022 Supercross season. Two out of the three championships have already been claimed but only one remains open. Jett won the title for the East while Christian Craig is in a massive lead for the West. Unfortunately, Jett sustained an ankle injury during qualifying and would pull out of the final race of the season. Even though he is further back in the points, it’ll be interesting to see Hunter Lawrence still give Christian a run for his money. The track was a barren desert during qualifying but it seems the track may have overwatered the track just before the racing began. So who do you think will win the second East/ West showdown? Scroll down below to find out.

250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS
Christian Craig grabbed the holeshot, but Hunter Lawrence would be the leader ny turn 2. With 13 minutes left, Christian Craig, let Nate Thrasher by for second place (not that there was much he could have done to stop him on this night) as RJ Hampshire pushed Christian back in fourth. Nate snuck past Hunter Lawrence for the lead and began to open it up. With 10 minutes remaining, Pierce Brown caught Christian Craig after passing RJ Hampshire earlier in the race. Christian quickly went back to to sixth after pushing the front end (on what was a slippery track) and going down. The fall to the ground and back to sixth place seemed to wake Christian Craig up as he started to look like his old self (not the Craig from the last couple races). Craig passed Forkner for fifth, but that was it for Craig. He decided to not taking any chances, as he only had to finish in the top 14 to clinch the 2022 AMA 250 East crown—Christian didn’t fight the Pro Circuit duo of Shimoda and Forkner as they came by to push him back to 8th. It was good enough, as Star Yamaha rider Nate Thrasher won the 250 Main and Christian Craig held on to win the 250 West by 10 points over Hunter Lawrence.

250 EAST RACE 2 RESULTS

Mitchell Oldenburg has something to prove in Salt Lake City as not only was he the fastest qualifier, but he also grabbed the holeshot in the second Heat Race. Austin Forkner chased in second with Derek Drake in third place. Austin lost a lot of time with an attempt at a pass just before the finish line. Enzo Lopes ran in third place with Jordon Smith in fourth place. 250 WEST HEAT RACE RESULTS
Christian Craig would win the first Heat Race.
Christian Craig was quick to grab the holeshot at the start of the 250 West Heat Race. Chris Blose chased in second place with Nate Thrasher in third place. With just over a minute remaining, both Hunter Lawrence and Michael Mosiman would go down as the track’s dirt was wildly inconsistent. Michael would go down once again and find himself in the LCQ. Christian Craig would win uncontested with a large lead on the competition with Nate Thrasher and Chris Blose following in second and third.
