250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2023 OAKLAND SUPERCROSS
After two weeks off, the 250 West Coast riders were welcomed back to racing with a brutal Supercross track in Northern California. The Oakland Supercross is so tough that all of the riders are making mistakes. In qualifying, we saw many riders crash in the two long whoop sections. The whoops will be freshly groomed for the first 250 Heat race of the night, but we expect it to break down and be rough by the LCQ and the Main Event.
Unfortunately, Club MX Yamaha rider, Phil Nicoletti is not racing tonight in Oakland after a crash in the first 250SX qualifier. He was hauled off the track holding his wrist. Star Racing Yamaha rider, Stilez Robertson, had a big crash in the whoops and he is also out for the night.

250 MAIN EVENT RESULTS
Jett Lawrence has now won three out of four 250 West Coast races this season.
RJ Hampshire grabbed the holeshot with Cameron McAdoo in second and Jett Lawrence in third. The Dirt Wurx crew groomed many parts of the track, but it is certainly more rough than the Heat races were. Rj Hampshire is coming into the night injured, but he is tough and is pushing through the pain of an AC separation in his shoulder. He’s also recovering from a bleeding spleen that he hurt at Anaheim 2 three weeks ago.
Three minutes into the race, Jett passed Cameron when he made a mistake in the whoops, and Pierce Brown made up some ground on the leaders the same lap when he ran the fastest lap time of that lap. With just over 10 minutes to go, Rj Hampshire washed the front end out while leading and let Jett Lawrence take the lead.
Jett Lawrence rode a smooth and consistent race to take the win, Rj Hampshire brought it in second and Pierce Brown charged hard and passed McAdoo for third, but he made a mistake in the whoops which allowed McAdoo to block pass him in the next turn and take him out. Pierce fought back and forth with Levi Kitchen for fourth, but crashed late in the race.

Cameron McAdoo finished third in Oakland.
Pierce Brown had a rough Main Event. He passed his way into a podium spot, but he got taken out by Cameron McAdoo and then he slide out by the mechanic’s area.
250 HEAT RACE 2 RESULTS
Robbie Wageman grabbed the holeshot on his BarX Suzuki RMZ250 and he held Cameron McAdoo off until the second whoop section on the first lap when Cameron made the pass by him. Then, Jett Lawrence, Enzo Lopes and Pierce Brown were quick to get around the Suzuki rider. On the opening lap, Jett made a mistake in the rhythm lane before the finish line and multiple riders have said how challenging this rhythm lane is with how soft the soil is.
With three laps to go, Jett Lawrence passed Cameron McAdoo for the lead in 250SX Heat two.
