After a crash on the start Ken Roczen would come from almost last to finish eighth. This was an unfortunate night for Ken and it was the first time that he’s finished outside of the top 5 this season.
Unfortunately Daytona wasn’t as good for the other 450 rookie, Aaron Plessinger. Aaron cased a jump and was ejected off his bike in the 1,000 foot rhythm section. He landed awkwardly on his feet and tumbled. He got up quickly hobbled off the track with a hurt foot.
