450 OVERALL QUALIFYING | 2021 WASHOUGAL NATIONAL

The 7th round of the AMA Pro Motocross series heads northwest to the prestigious Washougal MX Park in Washington state. The is generally one of the favorite tracks amongst the riders with its elevations changes, the chocolate dirt, the scenery and screaming fans. What riders tend to dislike about the race is the roost. You tend to see more riders with handguards and chest protectors at this round. In the 450 class, the Frenchman Dylan Ferrandis has a 32 points lead over the German, Ken Roczen. Roczen seemed to be slowly closing in on Ferrandis’ points lead until Roczen had a DNF in the first moto at Millville. However, Ken redeemed himself by winning the second moto. Let’s see how 450 qualifying in the Pacific northwest goes down.

450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS FROM SECOND SESSION

Dylan Ferrandis got the pole position in 450 overall qualifying results. 

The factory Honda rider, Chase Sexton was the first 450 rider to break the 2:14 barrier with a 2:13.761 lap time. Marvin Musqion who was the leader of the first 450 qualifying session sits second. On the next lap the lap time leader changed hands three different times with Ken Roczen leading the pack with a 2:11.825 time. After a few laps the two French riders on Dylan Ferrandis and Marvin Musquin were one and two on the leader board. Ferrandis held on to the pole with Musquin, Roczen, Sexton and Barcia rounding out the top five in the 450 class.
