450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2020 WW RANCH NATIONAL

The 2020 WW Ranch National is officially here and we are anticipating another exciting day of racing at Round 7 of the 2020 Pro Motocross season in Jacksonville, Florida. If you would’ve told us at the beginning of the season that Zach Osborne would have a 39-point lead over Eli Tomac after six races, we wouldn’t believe you. If you told us a couple weeks ago that Adam Cianciarulo would win back-to-back 450 Nationals (including a dominant 1-1 score at Millville) and he would jump to second in the points, only 15 behind Zach Osborne, we would again have a hard time believing you. As wild as it is, this is the scenario we have and it’s keeping us on the edge of our seats. With three Rounds of racing left to go, the pressure is on for Osborne, Cianciarulo, Musquin (who is third in points) and Tomac to see who can take this 2020 450 National Championship home. See below for 450 Qualifying Results from the WW Ranch National in Florida.

450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

2020 WW Ranch National_Chase Sexton-5739Chase Sexton was 1.6-seconds faster than the next best rider in 450 Qualifying today.

With the second session of qualifying, you’d probably be mistaken that it was the first moto of the day as Justin Barcia and Zach Osborne played a little bit of cat and mouse for the first few laps. This built up good practice for the two as they could see the lines that the other might take and different passing lines. However, Chase Sexton was in his own practice moto by himself as he still held the fastest lap in qualifying and the second session. We’ve seen a lot of surprises especially in the 450 class this year with the two rookies Adam Cianciarulo and Chase Sexton throwing down remarkably fast results. Justin Barcia sat in fourth place for qualifying in the second session followed by KTM riders Marvin Musquin and Blake Baggett. Marvin Musquin went down hard and it looked like he hit his head considerably hard. Christian Craig pushed up to third in timed qualifying going past Blake Baggett.

450 GROUP A QUALIFYING SESSION 1 RESULTSeli-tomac-millville-2020-sittingEli Tomac was the sixth fastest rider in the first 450 Qualifying session.

The 450 rookie, Chase Sexton was the fastest rider in the first 450 qualifying session with Zach Osborne over a full second behind him and Blake Baggett (who was third) almost a full two-seconds behind! That is a big gap for qualifying. Can Chase Sexton grab his first 450 win in his rookie season today?
