450 OVERALL RACE RESULTS | 2020 REDBUD PRO MOTOCROSS NATIONAL 1
The 2020 RedBud National 1 is officially here and yes, we’re racing on a Friday. Zach Osborne, Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia, Marvin Musquin and the rest of the 450 stars have their work cut out for them at the 2020 RedBud National double header as they will be racing on Round 4 Friday and Round 5 of the season on Monday this weekend. Eli Tomac has had a host of difficulties this season, mostly bike related (he DNF’d both motos at Round 2) but now he’s coming into RedBud with more momentum after winning the Ironman National and making up 13-points on current series leader Zach Osborne. Now, Osborne has a 27-point gap on Tomac and only a 13-point gap on Marvin Musquin (who is second) coming into RedBud #1.

450 OVERALL RESULTS
Zach Osborne is on the gas at RedBud.
Zach Osborne grabbed the holeshot with Cianciarulo, Barcia and Craig behind him on the start. Barcia then passed Craig quickly and then he passed Cianciarulo a few corners later. Adam bobbled and Justin power-slid his rear wheel into Adam and punted him to the outside. Marvin Musquin was running strong in fourth. On lap three, Barcia made a small mistake and Cianciarulo passed him on Larocco’s leap. Eli Tomac was 11th on lap one and only able to make it to eighth after the first four laps. Justin Barcia and Adam Cianciarulo battled back and forth passing each other multiple times. Musquin, Sexton, Baggett and Tomac gained ground as Justin and Adam played cat and mouse. At the halfway mark, Eli Tomac got around Blake Baggett for sixth and he got up to Musquin. Eli Tomac got around Musquin and then caught up to Sexton at the end of the race. Meanwhile, Zach Osborne maintained his lead over Barcia while Cianciarulo was pushing to catch Bam Bam and Tomac was pushing to catch Sexton. With two laps left, Tomac was close to Sexton and almost passed him but Sexton held him off. Still, he was close but then he missed the Larocco’s leap and he lost a lot of time. On the last lap, Sexton gained on Cianciarulo after Tomac pressured him to step up his speed. At the finish line, it was Zach Osborne who would seal the deal with 1-1 moto scores. Justin Barcia held on for second with Cianciarulo and Sexton right behind him. Eli Tomac lost time on the leaders on the last lap and finished fifth in the moto.

450 MOTO 1 RESULTS
Zach Osborne grabbed the holeshot and won the first 450 Moto.
Zach Osborne grabbed the holeshot with Freddy Noren and Max Anstie second around the first turn. Adam Cianciarulo made his way into second instantly and then he crashed at the end lap one which let Marvin Musquin get into second after he passed Noren. Christian Craig was third with Noren fourth and Sexton, Anstie, Tomac and Baggett rounding out the top eight. Cianciarulo was up to 8th behind Anstie after 9-minutes of racing. Freddy Noren was in fifth place and he was actually able to hold off Eli Tomac for a few laps until his bike failed him. Freddy then pulled off the track while it was still running and then it stopped and he had to push it off the track. Adam Cianciarulo has been on the gas and he caught up to Eli Tomac. With 10-minutes to go, Osborne had a 3-second lead on Marvin Musquin and 6-second gap on Chase Sexton. Eli Tomac just ran his fastest lap of the race as he caught up to Christian Craig who was fourth. Craig held Tomac off until 2-minutes plus 2-laps to go when he tucked the front end in a corner. Both Kawasaki riders Eli and Adam were able to get by him but he held onto sixth. Broc Tickle and Justin Barcia were behind in seventh and eighth. With two laps to go, Barcia passed his teammate Broc Tickle and on the last lap he passed Christian Craig. At the checkers, Osborne, Musquin and Sexton finished one, two and three.
