Justin Barcia had a scary crash at Atlanta 1 and now has stitches on his mouth. Justin is a gnarly rider.

Marvin Musquin grabbed the holeshot in the second round of qualifying but it was Aaron Plessinger who made the pass for the lead. Within the first lap, Jason Anderson already grabbed the fastest lap time of the second qualifying session with Eli Tomac chasing in second. It was long after until Ken Roczen grabbed a faster lap time than Jason Anderson, almost a whole full second faster than Jason but not as fast as Jason Anderson’s first qualifying time. Jason Anderson still held onto the fastest qualifying time of the day.
