450 QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2021 HANGTOWN NATIONAL MOTOCROSS

The final round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship series is hosted at the prestigious Hangtown motocross park. Since the factory Star Racing Yamaha racer, Dylan Ferrnaids was crowned the 450 motocross champion the week before at Fox Raceway the Hangtown round is more for bragging rights than anything. In rounds like this, you tend to see riders trying to prove themselves who may not have a ride for the 2022 season. Let’s see how things went down in 450 qualifying for the season finale at Hangtown. And let’s not forget we had our very own Josh Monsiman racing on a bone stock 2022 KTM 450SXF.

The 450 results are brought to you by FXR Racing.

450 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | HANGTOWN MX NATIONAL

Dylan Ferrandis 2021 Hangtown National-6923Dylan Ferrandis was the fastest in the second session in 450 qualifying but it wasn’t good enough for the fastest overall time. He sits fourth overall.

Eli Tomac started off leading the pack in the second qualifying session but the Frenchman, and now as of last week the 2021 450 MX National champ, Dylan Ferrandis jumped on the pole on the third lap. As the riders got warmed up to put in their hot laps, Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen beat out Ferrandis. However, on the final lap, the Frenchman laid down almost a second faster than the rest of the field. This might have been good enough to top the field in the second session but the smoother track in the first session had Webb, Roczen and Tomac beating Ferandis out for the overall best time.
