The premier class finishes up its residency in Arlington, Texas for the twelfth round of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season. The 450 class is still incredibly close between Cooper Webb and Ken Roczen, but with so much momentum behind Cooper Webb, it will be no easy task stopping Webb’s Arlington win streak. In timed qualifying, we saw the usual case of a new leader rising to the occasion every other lap. However, it was Chase Sexton who threw down the fastest lap time of the day, beating out Eli Tomac who was in second place. So who do you think will win the final installment of the Arlington races? Will Cooper Webb go 3 for 3 or will we see one of the other many 450 Allstars take the win? Who’s your fantasy pick for the 450 class?
It was Ken Roczen who led the 450s with rival Cooper Webb nipping at his heel. Justin Barcia ran in third with Eli Tomac in fourth place. Eli Tomac started to put the heat on Justin Barcia, gaining ground on the 51. Joey Savatgy made a mistake letting Chase Sexton and Jason Anderson by. Ken Roczen made a mistake through one of the rhythm sections letting Cooper Webb gain some ground. Eli made the pass on Barcia right before the finish line. Chase Sexton went down in the sand section kneeling on the ground. Two more riders went down in the sand section. Both Cooper Webb and Eli Tomac gained ground on Ken again as Ken made a mistake at the end of the sand section. The top three started to spread apart by half a second as the leaders began to run into lap traffic. Eli made a mistake after the finish line and Justin Barcia made the pass. But Eli held on the straight after taking his position back but Justin would run Eli into the tuff blocks. A huge battle between Ken and Cooper ensued as they went back and forth, and inevitably letting Cooper by. Cooper Webb won the Main Event, going 3 for 3 in Arlington.

450 HEAT 2 RACE RESULTS
Will the fastest qualifier do well when the gate drops?
The second 450 Heat Race began and it was Cooper Webb who would lead the race with teammates Chase Sexton and Ken Roczen in second and third. Ken made the pass on Chase within the first lap and put the drive on Cooper Webb. Ken made up considerable ground on his rival through the rhythm, lanes. The top three were on each other’s rear fenders. Ken was considerably faster through the whoops than Cooper and would close the gap each time through the obstacle. Ken made the pass on the rhythm section before the 5 long jump. Soon Chase Sexton was knocking on Cooper’s door making several passing attempts. Ken would win the second 450 Heat Race.
The Honda boys weren’t going to make it easy for Cooper Webb in the second Heat Race.
450 HEAT 1 RACE RESULTS
Dean Wilson had his best qualifying run of the season, finishing in fourth place by the end of the second qualifying session.
The first Heat Race took off and Justin Barcia got the holeshot with Malcolm Stewart in second. A turn later, Eli Tomac would take Malcolm Stewart’s position in the race. Aaron Plessinger ran in fourth place with Vince Friese in fifth. Justin Barcia was extremely fast through the difficult rhythm section before the whoops, making up valuable time on his lead in the race. Eli Tomac, eventually made the pass on Justin and the two both hit the massive 5 long jump. Eli Tomac would win the first Heat Race.

450 LCQ RACE RESULTS
Brandon had to defend off Cade Clason and Tyler Bowers for his position.
Justin Starling grabbed the holeshot with Brandon Hartranft in second place. Cade Clason sat in third place with Kevin Moranz in fourth. Tyler Bowers made the pass on Kevin a few laps in, taking the transfer position. On the very last lap, Alex Ray shoved Cade Clason off the track for his transfer position.
