450 OVERALL RACE RESULTS | 2021 BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL
The premier class made its way to beautiful Mechanicsville, Maryland, just half an hour away from our nation’s capital. The track was fairly wet at the beginning of the day but thankfully the sun came out and started to make the dirt a little bit better. Unfortunately for the 450 class, the 250 class left plenty of ruts for the 450s first moto of the day. In qualifying, it was Ken Roczen who was fastest amongst the premier class with Dylan Ferrandis grabbing a second place after having a chain break at the very end of the qualifying session. In the end Ken Roczen and Dylan Ferrandis went 2-1 and 1-2 with the overall win going to the Frenchman. Scroll downto find our favorite riders results from Budds Creek.

450 OVERALL RACE RESULTS
Dylan and the rest of the top 5 in the 450 class put down some of their fastest laps in the second moto despite the track being in the most hammered condition throughout the day.
Ken Roczen squeezed past Cooper Webb for the holeshot in the second moto and Dylan Ferrandis chased in third. A battle for third ensued when Chase Sexton closed the distance on Dylan Ferrandis and eventually became successful in one of the many tight turns. Chase Sexton was on a heater as he also made the pass for second place, beating Cooper Webb through one of the rollers. Cooper Webb proceeded to fall through the pack as Dylan and Eli made their way past the 2021 Supercross champion.
By the halfway point the race, the leaders were dip in lap traffic. Ken Roczen’s teammate Chase Sexton, didn’t seem too concerned about the team tactics of holding off Dylan Ferrandis as Chase closed the gap on the 94. However, Chase almost flew off the track in the roller section and lost his spot in the race to Dylan Ferrandis but still raced just ahead of Eli Tomac. Eli made the pass through the outside of one of the uphills and would sit in third place.
At nine minutes left, Dylan made the pass on Ken as the track became extremely technical. Dylan would go to win the second moto.

Eli Tomac kept Ken Roczen’s riding honest as he was behind the 94 for the entirety of the race.
450 MOTO 1 RACE RESULTS
There were plenty of impressive passes made by Dylan Ferrandis as he made his way from seventh place.
Cooper Webb took the holeshot with Eli Tomac sitting in second and Ken Roczen in third. In the first several turns, Ken made the pass on Eli and eventually Cooper. Eli began to ride on Cooper’s rear fender while Chase Sexton caught up to the battle for second. Christian Craig had a get-off at the beginning of the race and would have another large one around 25 minutes remaining, being launched off the side of the track. Fortunately, for Craig, his cat-like reflexes kicked in, dismounting the bike in air, landing on his feet and rolled it out.
Eventually, Eli made the pass for second place and Chase followed, both passing Cooper. One turn later after Chase made the pass on Cooper, he flew into the next turn, making a consecutive pass on Tomac. Ken Roczen was going amazingly fast as his lead grew to over 7.5 seconds. However, halfway through the race, Chase Sexton had closed the gap. Due to the one line nature of the track, lap traffic was extremely difficult to deal with for the front runners.
Dylan made the pass for second with only 3 laps left as Chase Sexton and the French man drag raced up and down the other side of Henry Hill.
