450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS | 2021 ORLANDO SUPERCROSS 2
The premier class continues its residency in Orlando, Florida for the eighth round of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season. Now that the rain is long gone, the track has shaped up to be dry and slick as the riders navigate the Camping World Stadium course, which is similar to the weekend prior, with slight adjustments. With the track shaping up to how it is, the smoothest 450 rider will dominate the field. In timed qualifying, we saw the normal 2021 results as the leaderboard was only separated by seconds from first to last. Six riders sat in the 50 second lap time and Jason Anderson sat on top with Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac, Dylan Ferrandis, and Benny Bloss chasing behind. Ken Roczen’s three-win streak was broken the weekend prior by rival Cooper Webb. So will Cooper Webb walk away with a streak himself or will someone else join the ranks of the Premier class winners this season? Find out down below as we report LIVE from Camping World Stadium located in Orlando, Florida.

450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS
Cooper Webb’s precise riding would pay off for the number 2.
Justin Barcia secured the holeshot but Adam Cianciarulo took the lead in turn two. Cooper Webb moved into third place with Marvin Musquin just behind. Ken Roczen got a terrible start and sat in 13th as he made his way deep into the pack. A lap later, the 94 was already in the top 10. In fifth sat Malcolm Stewart with Eli Tomac in sixth. Dylan Ferrandis sat in seventh and Ken Roczen was already knocking on his door. Eli Tomac made the pass on Malcolm and Marvin made the pass on Barcia with 16 minutes remaining. Tomac nearly flew off his bike in the turn after the whoops and lost the ground he gained on Malcolm, letting Ken Roczen close the gap. Ken Roczen made the pass on Malcolm and set his eyes on Eli. Adam’s lead in the race shrunk as Cooper Webb was only a second behind the leader. Eli Tomac had made progress on Barcia but the same could be said of Ken on Eli. With 12 minutes remaining, Cooper Webb made the pass on Adam Cianciarulo and started to lead the race. Marvin Musquin began to make the passing efforts on Adam Cianciarulo for the second place position. Adam CIanciarulo went down in the whoops and dropped out of the race. Cooper Webb’s lead grew to three seconds on his teammate. Ken made the pass on Eli Tomac and proceeded to make ground on Justin Barcia’s podium position with less than one minute remaining. Cooper Webb would finish first and Ken Roczen would not be able to take away the podium from Justin.

450 HEAT 2 RACE RESULTS
Jason Anderson was the fastest in qualifying.
Broc Tickle scored the holeshot but one turn later, Marvin Musquin took the lead away. Jason Anderson sat in second place followed by Broc Tickle and Aaron Plessinger. Eli Tomac got a terrible start and was back in the pack. Soon the 2020 champ started making work of the premier class field as he moved his way up the pack. The fourth through seventh positions became congested as the four riders were bike lengths from each other. Malcolm Stewart slammed into his teammate Dylan Ferrandis and took away the line leaving Dylan on the floor. Aaron Plessinger moved up into third place passing Broc Tickle. On the final lap, Jason Anderson pulled a similar move as Malcolm and took away Marvin Musquin’s line. Marvin went down and Jason got his first Heat win of the 2021 season.

450 HEAT 1 RACE RESULTS
One thing we haven’t seen this season is the ability for the riders to slide around a berm thanks to the track conditions. Berm blasting also makes for some pretty cool pics.
Ken Roczen took the lead followed by Adam Cianciarulo in the second heat race. Cooper Webb was chasing in third but went down in a turn and lost multiple positions. Martin Davalos moved up to third place followed by Justin Barcia in fourth. Ken Roczen’s lead grew to almost two seconds. A battle for fifth place commenced between Justin Barcia and Cooper Webb. Max Anstie gained the transfer position in ninth for his first Supercross heat race but Dean Wilson chased just behind. By the time the first heat race finished for the 450s, Ken Roczen’s smooth-riding paid off as he would cross the checkers first.
