450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2023 NASHVILLE SUPERCROSS

We’ve arrived at the 15th round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season located in the beautiful city of Nashville. This will be the second time we’ve been to Nashville with the first being all the way back in 2019 before that one awesome year we can never forget. Anyways, we’re back in the Music City and qualifying was won by none other than Chase Sexton, who’s also won a lot of qualifying sessions this season. The track was slick as the base seemed relatively hard packed with moisture on the top, but by the end of qualifying the track had started to develop. In between qualifying and the heats, a the Tennessee sky sprinkled making a perfect racing surface.

This is also the second day time race of the season so the gate drops are happening a lot earlier than usual. Eli Tomac has the points lead in his hands with Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton trailing behind. Is it too late for the KTM and Honda rider to make a last ditched attempt at the championship? Or will things get interesting like how they did during last week’s qualifying session involving Eli? Find out down below as we report all the action LIVE from Nashville!

MAIN EVENT RESULTS

Eli Tomac took the holeshot with Kevin Moranz and Justin Hill chasing in second and third. A lap later, Chase would make the pass on third and close the gap on second place’s Justin Hill. Chase would eventually make the pass for second following the whoops section.

However, at 11:30 minutes remaining, Justin Barcia hit the deck hard following the dragons back. Two minutes later, Chase Sexton made the pass for the lead.

Chase would go on to win the Main but he will have a lot of catching up to do if he wants to catch Eli in the championship.

HEAT 2 RACE RESULTS

Justin Barcia would win the second Heat Race.

Ken Roczen grabbed the holeshot at the start of the second Heat Race. Jason Anderson cross rutted in one of the rhythms resulting in the Kawi rider to come up short on a jump and crash in the process. Kenny would lead the race for the majority of the time until Justin Barcia closed the gap and catch the leader. Justin would take the lead and Chase Sexton would catch up to his old teammate.

Chase eventually got around Ken but it didn’t come easy as Kenny raced him in several turns. Justin would go on to win the second Heat.
