450 RACE RESULTS | FOX RACEWAY NATIONAL MOTOCROSS (UPDATED)
450 RACE RESULTS | FOX RACEWAY NATIONAL MOTOCROSS
The final round of the 2020 AMA Pro National Motocross Championship series was held at Fox Raceway in Pala, California. This year of racing has been quite interesting with Covid-19 hitting the world by storm. Instead of the regular 12 race series, MX Sports had to cut the series down to 9 rounds. With each state having different regulations for the pandemic it was a hard road to navigate where the series could travel to. Everyone thought Califonia was off the list as it is one of the more strict states. What allowed this series come to Califnoaia was that Fox Raceway was inhabited on Indian reservation land. Meaning the land doesn’t follow the same guidelines as the rest of California.
The 450 class has been an exciting one in 2020. The multi National champion, Eli Tomac was expected to dominate like he has many times before. Is he in a hangover phase after he won his first 450 Supercross title or was it having his first child the made him settle down in the National series? Whatever it is, Tomac has been off the pace and his teammate Adam Cianciarulo is now battling the veteran factory Husqvarna rider, Zach Osborne for the title. With a 24 point lead coming into the last round, it is a far reach for Adam to gain control of the title, but again, anything can happen.
