A VIDEO CLOSE-UP OF MXA’S 2005 YAMAHA YZ250 TWO-STROKE PROJECT BIKE

For this two-stroke 2005 Yamaha project build we commissioned Jay Clark to find us a cheap used YZ250 and make it new again. Although in the video this bike looks killer, it didn’t start out like that. Jay Clark found a laundry list of items that needed to repaired, refurbished and replaced before getting this YZ back on the track and in the hands of the MXA wrecking crew. TMR, Hinson, Works Connection, Wrench Rabbit, Moto Seat, FMF, Supersprox, All Balls Racing, Scar, Tusk, Polisport, Decal Works, Race Tech, CometicApplied, Moto Tassinari, ICW Radiators and more came together to make a great riding bike and something competitive enough to race at the local level. Yes, we spent a lot of money bringing it back up to snuff, but that is what happens when you buy a used bike that doesn’t run.
