125 HERO: GARED STEINKE & GLEN HELEN’S TRIPLE STEP

Glen Helen may be off the AMA 250/450 National schedule, but no track on the National circuit ever delivered the thrills and chills like the Glen. The Triple Step-Up was the most feared obstacle in the sport, but one that almost every rider managed to clear without a hitch. It looked intimidating, but it was always doable. And that holds doubly true for Gared Steinke, who entered the 2016 Glen Helen  250 National on a Husky TC125. And, while the four-stroke guys waffled about jumping the Triple-Step-Up, Steinke let ‘er fly.
